Anyone wishing to dispose of clean up material can do so by taking it to the
Regional Waste Management site on Norris Arm North Access Road. Hours of operation are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Drop Off Facility on
Whitmore Street is also open on selected Saturdays, please see schedule attached.
The period of May 19 th - 29 th , 2015 has been designated as Clean Up Period in the
Town of Grand Falls – Windsor and to assist with this program, Town trucks will pick up debris and refuse. We ask that residents separate the waste placed at the curb in three distinct types.
1. Metals (Appliances must have freon removed).
2. Wood (Including tree branches cut in five foot lengths and tied in bundles, no more than 50lbs) Branches can also go to the Drop Off Facility on Whitmore
Street 7 days / week.
3. All other waste.
Items not collected are:
1. Tires (return to place of original purchase)
2. Household hazardous waste (accepted at Regional Waste Management
Facility in Norris Arm)
3. Waste oil/paints (paints can be dropped off at The Paint Shop or Scotia
Recycling)
4. Shingles (Drop Off Facility on Whitmore Street or Regional Waste
Management Facility in Norris Arm)
5. Grass clippings/leaves (dispose at Compost Facility on Scott Avenue)
6. Construction and renovation waste (Drop Off Facility on Whitmore Street)
7. Concrete (Drop Off Facility on Whitmore Street 7 days a week)
8. Rocks and gravel (Drop Off Facility on Whitmore Street 7 days a week)
Residents are reminded that this clean up period is for yard waste or discarded household items. Residents are encouraged to take all leaves and grass clippings to the Town Compost Facility on Scott Avenue.

Do not place items at the curb that are not eligible for collection.
Place all items for pick up at the curb no earlier than 48 hours prior to scheduled pick up date.
Please have clean up ready on the day designated for your area.
Items placed after scheduled pick up date will NOT be collected.
