This 13-minute DVD provides an overview of English Language Learners, grades 3-5, as they create their own life stories in pictures first and then in words. The art-based literacy process used, Image-Making Within The
Writing Process®, utilizes collage made from hand-painted textured papers created by each student. (Many of these students, born and raised in refugee camps, have never even painted before.)
