Dear Parishioners,
Please join us the weekend of March 29, 2014 to hear Rev. Patrick Murphy, S.J. speak at all the services
about a ministry providing direct relief to the poor through Latin America and the Caribbean.
Father Murphy will share what he has witnessed about Food For The Poor’s mission to care for the destitute
as a means of living out the Gospel mandate to love one another.
Fr. Murphy was ordained for The Society of Jesus, the Jesuits, in 1967. Before joining Food For The Poor
he was a teacher and Chaplain at Creighton University, worked as a Chaplain in the prison system in
Wisconsin and has spent 18 years in ministry in Jamaica, Belize, Bahamas, Thailand and Antigua.
Please join me in welcoming Father Murphy.

CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES
“Amen, I say to you whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me” (Mt 25:40).
Today, we are reminded that Jesus identified himself with our poorest brothers and sisters. The Catholic
Relief Services Collection serves Jesus in the victims of human trafficking, in those we suffer from unjust
laws, and in those who need pastoral care and humanitarian assistance across the globe. Through your
support with today’s Collection you help Jesus disguise. Please be generous.
"The ACTS community is invited to a day of recollection at Our Mother of Sorrows Parish in Burnet on Saturday,
April 5th. Renew your spirit with activities beginning at 2 PM with Adoration. We will finish with 5 PM Mass and a
short coffee and punch social after mass. If you've been looking for something extra to do this lent, this is it."
From Ashes to Easter
We are blessed by the gracious gift of one man, Jesus Christ, who transformed human history with his infinite love.
Through his Spirit, his grace has been oured into our hearts. With an open heart, share your blessings. Put something
in your Ashes to Easter box each day and we will together substantially help and bring hope to the struggling missions.
Please pray for the missions. If you did not get a Lent box, please pick one up after Mass today. Return it on Easter.
