INSPIRING CHANGE AWARDS CECA is introducing a new suite of awards to recognise companies who can demonstrate they value and promote inclusion and diversity in the workplace and wider community. The awards will highlight organisations that understand the broad scope of diversity, nurture a culture of fairness, inclusion and respect and have taken active steps to ensure equality of opportunity. Eligibility: All those working in the infrastructure sector of the construction industry. Criteria: Entries are invited from organisations that have introduced innovative and creative interventions that are aligned to the business strategy and will inspire other employers to follow their lead. Award: An inscribed trophy will be presented at the Inspiring Change Awards being held at the Terrace Pavilion, House of Commons on Wednesday, 27th January, 2015 at 7.00pm. The keynote speaker at the Awards Reception is Caroline Dinenage, MP Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Women and Equalities and Family Justice. How to Enter: Entrants should provide a case study, of no more than 500 words, which describes how your company has developed an event, intervention or resource aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace, improving employability skills or access to job opportunities. There are also some specific questions for each of the categories. Each answer should not exceed 100 words. The case study should define the target audience, explain the benefits and any research or analysis carried out to ensure successful outcomes. Wherever possible, you should try to support your achievements with data and statistics. The judges will be looking for evidence of the following: How the initiative is aligned to company goals How it has helped to enhance the culture within the company How it has made a sustainable and positive impact on the workforce and supply chain or school and the wider community Additionally, in support of your entry, you may provide up to 4 photographs or graphics.
