North Derbyshire System Resilience Planning for 2014/15 Additional non-recurrent funding to support services during the winter period The North Derbyshire System Resilience Group is responsible for ensuring that system resilience plans are in place to support our services during the winter period when there is often more pressure on our local health and care services. General System Resilience Appendix One below summarises the non-recurrent funds received by the North Derbyshire and Hardwick Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) to support system resilience over the winter period and invested across a range of health and care services. The plans have been developed with input from the CCGs and all of the main providers and have been approved through our System Resilience Group and CCG commissioning systems. The funding shown in Appendix One totals £2,852,000 and this additional investment is supported by an allocation of additional national non-recurrent funding for use up to 31 March 2015. The total national allocation excluding for Mental Health Services (see below) received to date is shown below: North Derbyshire system resilience allocation: Derbyshire NHS111 system resilience allocation: £3,087,000 £38,000. Work is continuing to finalise plans for investment of the remaining £273,000 and this table will be updated during November and December 2014. A bid is also being submitted against additional national allocations to support NHS111. Improving crisis care and early intervention in psychosis Bids were also submitted as part of a Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire-wide submission against a national allocation for improving crisis care and early intervention in psychosis. A total of £275,000 has been allocated for two North Derbyshire schemes and a Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire-wide EMAS scheme. A summary is included in Appendix Two.
