Who Are We?
Nanjing No.1 Toastmasters
Nanjing No.1 Toastmasters Club is the FIRST club officially founded in Jan, 2010.
We are positioned as a community club with DIVERSITY, HUMOUR and
PROFESSIONALISM.
How Does Our Meeting Work?
I am a member :
I could practice any roles in a regular meeting with instruction from manuals.
There is no instructor in a meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s
presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success. Apart
from that, I am eligible to join the educational training , contests and any
activities organized by TM.
I am a guest :
I could participate in the Table Topic Session to give a impromptu talk within 12mins. At the end of meeting , I could voluntarily give my comments on meeting
on the stage within 30sec or more.

Timing Rules
Why?
Time control is crucial at any
meeting. In a Toastmasters
Club Meeting there are short
speeches as well as long
speeches, all should be made
under a time limit.
Short speeches are practically
less than three minutes, for
instance, Facilitator’s
Introduction, Table Topics
Speech, Individual Evaluation,
Facilitator’s Report, etc.
For long speeches, there are
Table Topics Session, Prepared
Speech, General Evaluation,
etc.
