Help Your Students Earn Dinner at the White House! Mrs. Obama and the Let's Move! campaign are looking for new healthy lunch recipes. Students can create a lunch meal idea that includes each of the five food groups and should be a meal the students would like to eat. Recipes must be submitted by May 12, so click on the link below for information and entry forms! The Healthy Lunchtime Challenge and "Kids State Dinner" Nutrition Tool Kit Item Highlight MyPlate Activity Guide This year, the UANN provided all partner schools with a toolkit full of nutrition education resources. One of the items included in the toolkits is the MyPlate Activity Kit. This kit will help you introduce MyPlate with eight fun lesson plans and reproducible student activity sheets to help students learn how to use MyPlate to choose a balanced diet. Includes background information about MyPlate, The Five Food Groups, Go and Whoa Foods, and Focus on Fruits and Veggies. 24 pages.
