While employed at Washington Mutual Bank as a First Vice President he was responsible for all aspects of collateral management for 4 business channels, for a territory including Maine to Florida while overseeing 180 full time employees. He has been involved in the appraisal industry since 1986, starting as a staff appraiser with World Savings and then moving to management at CitiBank. From 1991 to 1999, he was self-employed at J. Palumbo and Associates, Inc. He has been qualified by The New Jersey and New York State Board of Real Estate Appraisers as an Instructor of Residential Real Estate Courses. Mr. Palumbo has been teaching “Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)” since 1995 is an AQB certified Instructor. In 2010 he became qualified to teach the IVS (International Valuation Standards). He presented the class in Beijing China, July 2010. He studied Political Science at Rutgers University and Economics at the University of Maryland. Stanziola, MAI, SRA fjstanziola@comcast.net 908-752-2093 Frank J. Stanziola is the President of Frank J. Stanziola & Associates, a real estate appraisal and consulting firm. Mr. Stanziola currently holds the Certified General Real Estate Appraiser designation with the State of New Jersey. He received his MAI designation in 1981 with the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers. Frank J. Stanziola became President of City Appraisal Services in 1982 and established 10 regional offices based in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, and New Jersey. City Appraisal Services annually completed approximately 24,000 assignments consisting of residential, commercial, and industrial appraisals, as well as feasibility and market studies. Mr. Stanziola also held positions with major financial institutions where he led a team responsible for the acquisition of joint venture commercial real estate projects as well as the work out of non- performing assets. He became the Senior Vice President of a major Princeton, New Jersey based financial institution where he was the Chief Appraiser and served on committees that were responsible for new loan originations and the management of troubled assets. Mr. Stanziola has been a certified National Instructor for the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers, the Society of Real Estate Appraisers, and the Appraisal Institute.
