Teacher of Mathematics - Part-time (0.4 FTE)
Required for September 2015
This is an opportunity for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our
oversubscribed 11 – 18 grammar school with 450 girls on roll, which includes 150 Sixth Form students.
The school is situated in the busy market town of Newport, eight miles from the centre of Telford.
Newport is also in commuting distance of Stafford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and north
Birmingham.
The school moved to Academy status in 2011 and consistently achieves excellent results and standards
within a caring, supportive and modern environment.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher, who would work within the Mathematics
Department, and contribute to the delivery of the Maths curriculum to all year groups. The applicant
should, therefore, be a trained Maths graduate. Many students study advanced level maths so an
ability and interest in teaching to this level is highly desirable. An ability to teach ‘A’ level further
mathematics will be an advantage.
We can offer you:
