CAMPUS UPDATES:
Millersville recently completed a major, multi-million dollar renovation to the student center
which opened in April 2012. Additionally, the campus is building a new center for the
performing and visual arts slated to open Spring 2012. Most recently, Millersville gained a
presence in Lancaster City by acquiring a new multi-million dollar facility in the heart of the
city. The facility, formerly home to the Pennsylvania Academy of Music, together with the new
performing and visual arts center, will be the epicenter of a renaissance in the Arts at Millersville

CAMPUS UPDATES: Renovations of an existing academic building to house the Theater, Art, and Dance departments,
which completes a relocation of the College of Visual and Performing Arts to a two-building complex, were completed
this summer.
New construction of a 70,000 square foot Student Recreation Center, with interior and exterior activity spaces and
provision for 78 parking spaces in an underground parking garage is scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2012.
Continued installation of one the largest geothermal cooling and heating systems in the country. Once completed, this
state-of-the-art system will provide natural temperature control for each of the academic, student support service, and
residence hall buildings on campus.
