Soup Kitchen Sunday It's Soup Kitchen Sunday again. With the nip in the air - why not join us for some warm
and hearty soup with fresh bread and butter and delicious steamed pudding and custard? You haven't put your name
down? - no problem - there's plenty for everyone. Join us after refreshments for food and fellowship!
Harvest Flowers A very big thank you to all the ladies who kindly brought in baskets to decorate the church. Also
many thanks to Diana and Diane for all their help on Saturday morning doing the rest of the decorations.
Work Party – Saturday, 24th October The next Work Party will be next Saturday, 24th October combined with
a fund raising Coffee Morning and Bring & Buy. Unfortunately, only Graham and Doug W were able to come to the last
one as Sandra had a meeting and I was unavailable. Please bring any items you are willing to sell for the Bring & Buy
as well as cakes for the Coffee Morning. All proceeds will be for Church Funds. Could we please have some help with
the Work Party as this is the time to clear leaves and cut back the trees and bushes in the Car Park for the winter.
There will be plenty of refreshments available as the Coffee Morning will be running at the same time.

Congratulations to Wilf and Pam Wilf and Pam became the proud grandparents of Isobel Kathleen who arrived
on 13th October, weighing in at 9lbs 1oz. She is the first child of Rachael and Liam. In fact there is a triple celebration
because little Isobel arrived on Wilf and Pam's 36th Wedding Anniversary, which also happens to be Pam's dad's
birthday! WOW!!!
All our love and very best wishes to Wilf, Pam, Rachael & Liam xxx (and happy birthday to Pam's
dad x)
Network – Tuesday Jane Hughes will be coming to Network this coming Tuesday at 2.30 pm to talk about the Food
Bank. All are welcome to come along to what should be a very interesting talk. Refreshments are served afterwards.
Readers - needed We are now quite short of folk to read from the Bible during the service. We have a new list
that will be on the hatch during refreshments for the next couple of weeks. Whether you are on the old list, or whether
you would like to be put on the list - would you kindly put your name down on the form together with your contact
telephone no. Many thanks in anticipation.
