Psych-KIT Workshops 2014
The Swinburne Psychology Clinic provides Psychological Assessment Training for provisional
psychologists undertaking supervision for registration. These workshops provide provisional
psychologists with the opportunity to gain training in commonly used psychological
assessments.
The workshops also provide provisional psychologists with access to kits so that under the guidance
of their supervisor they can attain a level of competence commensurate with the requirements of
provisional registration.

Each Psych-KIT workshop is $495 which includes full course materials and one month use of the kit.
Morning tea & lunch provided at all full day workshops.
CBT Six Part Workshop
Dr. Sunil Bhar is presenting a six part CBT Workshop Series in 2014. All health professionals are
welcome to attend. Participants can choose to attend as few or as many of the workshops as they
like.
The CBT workshops are $295 each and include materials and morning tea. Registering for all six will
result in a $200 discount from the overall price.
Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples
During this one day workshop participants will be introduced to emotion and attachment theories and
how they inform the practice of EFT. The model of EFT for working with distressed couples will be
outlined and key interventions introduced. Participants will watch training materials, practise role plays
and participate in a case discussion. The workshop is suitable for post graduate students or practising
clinicians interested in improving skills in working with EFT for couples.
CPD Points
Please note that APS members can accrue Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours by
participating in CPD activities that they determine to be relevant to their individual professional skills
learning plans and goals. These may be self-initiated. CPD activities do not need to be endorsed by
the APS.
