1. Circulatory System- a system of blood vessels and
organs that transports blood to all the cells in the
body
2. Heart- muscular organ that pumps blood throughout
the body
3. Veins- blood vessels that carry blood back to the
heart
4. Arteries- blood vessels that carry blood away from
the heart
5. Respiratory System-brings oxygen from the air into
your body. This happens when you breathe in.
6. Diaphragm- a group of muscles working together
when you breath (inhale and exhale)
7. Trachea- a tube that carries air from the throat to the
lungs
8. Lungs- the main organs of the respiratory system
9. Pharynx- The throat
10. Carbon Dioxide- released with the air that is
exhaled, or breathed out
