Homecoming 2015
What a great year it has been so far! Thank you for your continued participation on
campus. PAC is hard at work on CU Homecoming 2015: Tune In and we need your
help to make this a great one. We are packing the itinerary full of exciting activities for
the entire week, so mark your calendars. The theme for the week is all about rocking out
and being awesome in general. We have several contests and activities that we hope your
organization will get involved and participate.
Homecoming King and Queen:
Nominations are due by Monday, February 9th. We ask King and Queen Candidates to
complete interviews and we will narrow all candidates down to a final 5 in each category.
Candidates must sign up for a fifteen minute interview to take place on Tuesday,
February 180h or Wednesday, February 11th. After this time, the final 5 King and final 5
Queen candidates will be announced by noon on Monday, February 16th and campaigning
can begin at this time. Elections will be held on February 18th and 19th in the MCC.
The Coronation Ceremony will take place during half-time of the Men’s Basketball game
on Saturday, February 21st. See attached rules and information.

The #1 Aggie Fan Contest constitutes the competition in the following contests. ALL
AGGIE FAN APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH. See
attached rules for further information.
Sandwich Board Painting —February 12th
Use the theme for this week and get CREATIVE! Your organization can pick up your
wood panel from the Student Activities Office. Painting can begin once you collect your
board and is due back on Thursday, February 12th at 4pm so we can display them around
campus during the week of Homecoming. Judging will take place at 4pm on Tuesday,
February 17th.
Foam C’s Contest—February 19th
Your organization can pick up your letter C when you turn in your Aggie Fan form. Paint
the provided letter C along the homecoming theme, and turn in to the Student Activities
office. Judging will take place on Friday, February 20th. We’ll take all letters and
transport them to be displayed at the basketball game in the Aggie Gym.
Golf Cart Parade—February 20th
Come join the fun and sign your organization up to decorate a golf cart for our inaugural
Golf Cart parade which will take place on Friday, February 20th ending at the Bonfire
Social. Organizations can begin decorating their cart to match the theme 3:30pm in the
Conwell Hall lot. The parade will begin at 5:30pm and will be followed by the Bonfire
Social in the South Village Gravel Lot.
We hope you’ll take advantage of some of these opportunities. All forms and
applications can also be found on the Homecoming website
