The event features videos with five amazing stories of four dogs and a horse who overcame their illnesses through the dedication of their owners, veterinarians and specialists. Three of the dogs and their owners will be onsite. Keynote Address Friday June 14th, 10:30 – 11:20 am, Room 6B Ford W. Bell, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology), the extra-ordinary veterinarian, will deliver the keynote address, “From Prostate Cancer to Museums: A Veterinary Journey”. Dr. Bell is President and CEO of the American Association of Museums, and is a Board-certified veterinary oncologist. He has more than 30 years of experience as a nonprofit executive, board chair, donor, trustee, and educator. One Medicine Scientific Sessions Friday June 14th, 4 sessions beginning at 2:10 pm and ending at 6:15 pm, Rooms 618-619 One Medicine is a term that acknowledges the fundamental similarities between living species as they relate to the practice of medicine.
