Ford W. Bell to Address Veterinarians at 2013 ACVIM Forum
June 12-15 in Seattle, Washington
(Denver, CO) Ford W. Bell, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology), the extra-ordinary veterinarian, will deliver the keynote address, “ From Prostate Cancer to Museums: A Veterinary Journey
”, on June 14 th
at the 2013
ACVIM Forum in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Bell is President and CEO of the American Association of
Museums, and is a Board-certified veterinary oncologist. He has more than 30 years of experience as a nonprofit executive, board chair, donor, trustee, and educator. The keynote session is Friday, June 14 th
at
10:30 am in the Washington State Convention Center, Room 6B.
The 2013 ACVIM Forum features expert presentations for more than 3,000 veterinarians on all aspects of veterinary internal medicine. Veterinarians, veterinary specialists, technicians and students from around the world gather to gain insights on key research, attend in-depth presentations on cutting edge diagnosis topics, and discuss current issues with leading experts.
Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, the ACVIM Forum provides the most current information and research available on the five ACVIM specialties, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, small animal internal medicine and large animal internal medicine. Sessions include:
Specialty Symposium (pre-forum) June 12 th for ACVIM Diplomates and Candidates focused on issues relevant to each of the ACVIM’s five specialties
Scientific Sessions June 13 th – 15 th with research focus lectures, comprehensive review lectures, post-graduate courses, and clinical workshops
