Team Manager Briefings (Junior States, Senior States, Aussies)

The relevant Referees have called a briefing evening prior to the main Championship events. A number of
items regarding these events will be covered.
After positive feedback from the previous sessions that we have held in the lead up to the main
Championship events, we felt it would again be a valuable exercise to call all Team Managers together.
The briefing will not only include a number of guest speakers including Championship Referee(s) and key
officials but will also cover items that relate to the Team Manager role itself, such as the key roles and
responsibilities of all of our Team Managers at the main Championship events.
Clubs must ensure that they have at least one representative from the club attend the briefing. In
addition to this it is preferred that each club has at least one Senior Team Manager and one Junior Manager
attend. If this is an issue please indicate in the ‘notes’ section on the nomination form.
The briefing will be conducted:
DATE: Wednesday March 11th at 6.30 pm,
VENUE: Surf Central, 2 Barcoo Road, West Beach
SCHEDULE:
6:30pm – General Championship information, roles and responsibilities (compulsory for all to attend)
7:15pm (approx.) – Specific Championship information, Juniors and Seniors held as separate session
8:00pm (approx.) – Australian Surf Life Saving Championships Team Managers briefing (30 minutes)
