Miss M. Tang Nursery Planning 2014/15 Date: 13/01/2014 The children have shown an interest in Highland cows and castles after a discussion about what they already know about Scotland and what they would like to learn about Scotland. Focusing on Highland cows and after reading two books to the children called, “Home sweet Hamish” and “Hamish the Highland Cow” by Natalie Russell, this generated lots of discussion about building and making their own home for Hamish, where they would take Hamish on an adventure and wanting to go and see some real Highland cows.
