This is a once-in-a-lifetime event. We all have so much to be proud of and it is fun to see hard work pay off.

FROM MARK MACDONALD, PRESIDENT/MBLL SENIORS:

Their record stands at 15-0.

They are the first Regional Champion from Manhattan Beach and

District #36 in baseball. MB also sent a 12-year old Softball team to the World Series in 2003.

They will trade in their All Star uniforms with an "MC" and

"Mustangs" for a uniform that says "West." They are the "Best of the West."

They are off to Bangor Maine to play in the "House That Stephen

King Built." Yes he paid for Mansfield Stadium.

This is a true World Series with teams from Italy, Saipan

(Northern Mariana Islands), Aruba and Canada.
