GRADE 9 STUDENTS RECEIVED THE ONTARIO STUDENT RECORD SHEET IN THE MAILING. PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE
INFORMATION ON THIS FORM IS COMPLETE AND CORRECT AS IT FORMS THE BASIS OF OUR SCHOOL RECORDS AND IS REFERRED
TO IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY. GRADES 10 AND 11 WILL RECEIVE THIS FORM TO MAKE CORRECTIONS IN THE FALL.

Photographs
A photographer will be at the school during the “Walk Through Registration” process and again in early September for those who are missed in
August to take individual pictures of ALL students as part of the registration process. These pictures are for the student ID card and colour picture
packages (for those students who wish to buy these). All students are expected to have a photo to be uploaded to the Student Information System
(SIS).

Student Drop Off and Pick Up
The traffic route has been redirected to the South Parking Lot
only. This should reduce traffic congestion and promote safety.
Please drive slowly. Please arrange to drop off and pick up your
child in the South Parking Lot.
ONLY SCHOOL BUSSES HAVE ACCESS to the front driveway.
Examinations and Reports
Our school year is divided into two semesters, with a formal set of
examinations at the end of each semester. Printed report cards are
issued approximately three weeks after examinations are written.
The following dates for final exams will enable families to plan
ahead for holidays or other events.

Code of Conduct
A copy of the Glenforest Code of Conduct will be given to each student at registration
(available at glenforest.peelschools.org). Please take some time to review this
statement with your son(s) or daughter(s) during the first few days of school. Pay
particular attention to the section on weapons and substance abuse which result in
severe penalties imposed by the Peel District School Board. In some cases, the
consequences are mandated by legislation. Respect and care for oneself and other
people is a strong focus for us at school. Our staff believe very strongly that these
values must be reinforced at all times in our school community.
