4th Grade Saint’s Project! Saint Costumes are Due in School by Wednesday, October 30th 4 grade has been working hard in school on a Saint’s project! As you may already know, they have picked a saint, researched, and are currently working on a short speech to share their knowledge of this saint. The culmination of this project will be attending a filming of the TV Mass with Fr. Casey on Thursday, October 31 at the Catholic TV Center (see permission slip for details). For the mass, students will be dressing up as their Saint. Using items around the house for clothing and props (sheets, robes, etc.) is encouraged! If you would like ideas of how to make these costumes, here is a website you may find helpful! http://catholicicing.com/all-saints-day-costume-ideas/ th st Costumes will be previewed in school by teachers on Wednesday, October 30 (the day before the mass). On Thursday, (Halloween) students are allowed to dress down and will change into their Saint’s costume when they get to school. They will stay in their Saint’s costume for the TV mass and then they are allowed to change into a Halloween costume for the SBCA Halloween Parade in the afternoon. The saint costumes will stay in school because students will wear their costume to the All Saints Day first Friday school mass and will be sharing their saint story with other student’s in 1 - 6 grade after mass. It will be a busy and fun filled week! Thank you in advance for your efforts!
