You will create a PowerPoint or Prezi presentation about an imaginary trip that you took to an Austrian
or German city. Your presentation should have several sections/pages.
Page/section 1:
1. Tell where you went and how you got there. Include a picture.
Example sentences: Potsdam
Ich bin nach Berlin mit dem Flugzeug geflogen. Dann bin ich mit dem Zug nach Potsdam gefahren.
I flew to Berlin on a plane. Then I rode a train to Potsdam.
2. Tell how much the travel plans cost. You must fly with Lufthansa and/or ride the Deutsche
Bahn trains.

Example sentence:
In meinen Koffer habe ich einen Badeanzug, Sonnenbrille, Sonnencreme, Zahnpasta, etc.… gepackt.
In my suitcase, I packed a swimsuit, sunglasses, sunscreen, toothpaste, etc.

1. Provide a map of Germany or Austria and indicate on that map where your city is located.

1. Name the geographical and/or features (mountains, rivers, lakes, beaches, etc.) present in
your city. You may use bullets instead of complete sentences. Provide pictures.

1. Name three sights you saw or places that you visited (museums, stadiums, parks, castles,
palaces, galleries, theaters, statues, monuments, medieval towns, Altstädte, bridges, zoos, etc.).
Include a picture of each sight.
Example sentence:
Ich habe das Pergamonmuseum gesehen.
I saw the Pergamon museum.
Then, you should write 2-3 sentences describing this attraction, and tell how much it costs to get
in. This is the ONLY part of the project you may do in English!
Example sentences:
The Pergamon museum is on Berlin’s museum island, and is one of the most famous museums in
Berlin. In it you can see Greek sculpture and architecture. It costs 14 Euro for an adult ticket.
