This genuinely looked the easiest round to pick 9, but as usual there were lots of surprises; mainly dogs, demons and Greater Western Sydney. 10 tips picked 6 winners. Well done President Debra – you were one of the 10. 13 other tipsters had an average round with 4 or 5. Amazingly Roslyn didn’t pick the lowest – she managed 3. The honours this week went to Heather Green and Rob Swinton. Well done to Shar, who did very well with 7, missing out on her team the Pies. The gap is narrowing on the leaderboard. GUEST SPEAKERS Rahni Buchanan and Matt O’Dowd from Buchanan Family Chiropractic Rahni spoke about treatments in easing back pain, taking pressure from the spine and relieving muscle tension. If any concerns arise patients are referred to a G.P. Matt talked about the use of Bowen Treatment which is a holistic remedial body technique that works on the soft connective tissue of the body. This treatment originated in Geelong but is now used worldwide. Bowen therapy can be used to treat musculoskeletal or related neurological problems including acute sports injuries and chronic or organic conditions. It is gentle and relaxing and does not use forceful manipulation. This makes it safe for people of all ages from babies to those in their 90s. THANK YOU! Debra thanked everyone for their support for the year and looked forward to seeing those who can make it next Sunday and if not at Rotary next Tuesday with new President Graham Snell.
