AOI Key Question_______________________________________________________
Why does this AOI relate to the project?
“What can I do for my Personal Project?”
The Personal Project is a learning experience – one that you conceive, design, create and carry out all by yourself.
1.
Keep it real! Avoid projects based on “simulations” or “mock-ups”. (I will write a Manuel on how
to play guitar and pretend someone reads it.)
2.
Be original – be unique! It is PERSONAL project. Do something that starts with your talents.
3.
Get busy planning. For Example, Goal “Help other people learn to play guitar”. Product, I will
create an instructional video.

Identify different guitar teaching strategies

Locate sources of information to base lessons on

Organize lessons in chronological order and prepare details

Video lessons demonstrating different guitar techniques

Edit

Post on School Wiki two months before the deadline

Prepare feedback or survey to go with wiki

Review feedback to see how useful this was to help teach people to play. Do this one month before the
deadline so I can include it in my reflection and conclusion and meet the final deadline in March.
I have viewed the Personal Project brainstorm sheet and have discussed it with my child.
