BREEDING RIGHT AGREEMENT
The Mare Owner hereby confirms a reservation to the stallion named above for the year ____________.
The breeding right is sold with a one Year Term on a Live Foal Guarantee. Mare is booked
specifically by name as outlined in ‘Description of Mare’ set forth above. The booking may not be
transferred to another mare without the prior written consent of Clear Round. If the mare does not
conceive within the term of the contract, the Mare Owner must enter into a new contract in order to
continue breeding and must pay an additional Stallion Service Fee.
FEES AND TERMS
The entire Stallion Service Fee must be paid in advance of the first shipment of semen.
The Stallion Service Fee includes the first time collection fee charged by Clear Round’s approved
veterinarian as well as the first time hauling fee of the stallion to the collection site. Should the Mare
Owner require more than one collection, the Mare Owner will be responsible for the stallion
transportation fee assessed at $250 for each further collection. The hauling fee will be paid to Clear
Round prior to each additional collection.
Boarding fees for additional collections of the stallion at the collection site may occur and will be
billed to the mare owner directly by Clear Round’s approved veterinarian. The Mare Owner will also
be responsible for each further collection charge directly billed by Clear Round’s approved
veterinarian.
SHIPPING
It is the Mare Owner’s responsibility to call in advance of the planned breeding date to check the
collection and shipping schedule.
The Shipping Container will be furnished by Clear Round’s approved veterinarian. All shipping
charges will be paid by the mare owner directly to Clear Round’s approved veterinarian. The Mare
Owner agrees to return the Shipping Container to Clear Round’s approved veterinarian no later
than two days after receipt of semen.
Each shipment will contain one or two insemination doses at the discretion of Clear Round’s
approved veterinarian.
Clear Round only assumes responsibility to ship semen in a viable condition at the time of delivery
to the Mare Owner’s farm or other designated location.
In all cases, Clear Round makes no guarantee of the on-time arrival of shipments.
CONDITIONS
Breeding season dates begin February 15th, and end July 30th, each year. Extensions to this season
are not guaranteed, but will be considered on a case by case basis.
The Mare Owner must ensure the healthful condition and breeding soundness of the mare prior to
insemination.

LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE
This contract carries a live foal guarantee. If the mare herein named, or the mare substituted, fails
to produce a foal that can stand and nurse, the Mare Owner will be entitled to a return breeding in
the following season, provided Clear Round is presented with a Veterinarian’s Certificate outlining
the details of the failed pregnancy or foal’s death within ten (10) days of its occurrence. There will
be no additional Stallion Service Fee for a rebreed, but all veterinary fees, boarding fees,
transportation fees of the stallion, shipping fees of the semen will apply and will be billed to the
Mare Owner. Failure to notify Clear Round within ten (10) days will nullify this rebreeding privilege.
In all cases, rebreeding privileges are at the discretion of Clear Round.
DEATH, UNFITNESS OR SALE OF THE STALLION
The Stallion Service Fee paid under this Agreement is nonrefundable except for the following
circumstances: if the Stallion should die, become unfit to breed or should be sold. Clear Round will
offer a substitute Stallion or refund the Stallion Service Fee. No other refunds will be made.
LIABILITY
The Mare Owner fully understands, authorizes, and assumes the special risk inherent in breeding
using transported semen or live cover of the mare. The Mare Owner also understands the risk of
failure due to many variables and shall hold Clear Round and the stallion owner harmless for any
losses suffered due to an unsuccessful attempt at conception. This release of liability for death,
sickness and/or accident, including consequential damages caused to the mare and/or the foal, and
the Mare Owner agrees to hold Clear Round or any other person associated with Clear Round
harmless for any and all damages associated herewith.
This agreement constitutes and represents the entire agreement between the parties. The Mare
Owner acknowledges and agrees that no warranties or guarantees of any kind or character,
expressed or implied, (other than the Live Foal Guarantee policy as set forth above), have been
made or extended by Clear Round or anyone associated with them, including the stallion owners,
regarding either the services rendered or to be rendered or the breeding of the mare or this
breeding agreement.
