Stallion Contract for Non-Purebred Mares Shipped Semen
I hereby confirm my reservation for the stallion services
of the stallion Fandango del Sol, Registration numbers
ANCCE #1901010022EU002/IALHA #4646(S), for the fee of
$1200.00, in order to breed the Non-PRE

For the breeding season of February 1st through September

I understand and accept the following terms:
1) Mare owner agrees that the above named mare has had
a current breeding soundness exam and is shown to be
in sound breeding condition and free of any infections
that would render this mare unfit for breeding.
2) A $240.00 (20%) non-refundable booking fee must be
returned with this contract.
3) Mare owner is responsible for payment of all
veterinarian charges, lab fees, container rental fees,
courier service and/or shipping expense, necessary to
collect stallion. These fees will be directly billed
to mare owner by the collecting vet B.W. Furlong and
Associates, P.O. Box, 101 Homestead Road, P.O. Box 252,
Oldwick, NJ 08858, 908-439-2821.
4) If mare does not conceive by September 30th, she may
return the following breeding season, for no additional
fees (collection fees still apply) unless other
arrangements have been made and agreed upon by both
parties.
5) In the event that a live foal (one that stands and
nurses for 24 hours) does not result, the mare, or a
suitable substitute approved by stallion owner, may be
returned for breeding during the same year as the foal
was to be born, free of any additional stud fees
(collection fees still apply). Proper written
notification that the mare has slipped or produced a
non-viable foal must be forwarded to Cornerstone Farm
Andalusians within 1 week of slippage or non-viable
birth, by a licensed veterinarian.
6) It is agreed that the breeding fee of $1200.00, which
includes the booking fee from section 1, must be paid
and received before semen is shipped or mare is bred.
7) Mare owner assumes all risk of illness, injury or
death of mare. Mare owner shall provide own insurance
for such risk.
8) In the event of the death, incapacitation, or sale
of stallion before all presently bred mares have produced
live foals, stallion owner will refund all stud fees,
minus booking fees.
9) In the event of the sale of contracted mare, and mare
does not produce a live foal, all fees are non-refundable.
10) Mare owner agrees to give stallion owner as much
notice as is physically possible for collection of
stallion. Mare owner understands that stallion needs
to be transported to above mentioned veterinarian for
collection and is at the mercy of the clinic’s schedule.
Stallion will also be unavailable for collection for
the following two dates, __________________ and
_________________, due to showing.
11) A breeder’s certificate will be issued to the mare
owner after all fees and expenses have been paid and
mare has produced a live foal. Mare owner agrees to notify
stallion owner of the birth within 3 days of the event.
12) Any questions arising under the terms of this contract
shall be construed and enforced under the laws of the
state of New Jersey.

If the above terms are acceptable to you, please sign
below and return it with your booking fee. At that point
this contract shall be binding to both parties, subject
to all the terms set forth herein. This contract can
not be assigned or transferred by mare owner.
