 Raise desk

 Phonebook footstool wrapped in duct tape and contact paper

 Capri Sun™ box (juice box)

 Exercise steps

 Angle – three ring binder with clipboard for slant surface

 Use non-skid material on surface to prevent work from sliding

 Velcro or tape pencil to prevent from rolling to floor

 Book bag on back of chair

 Bucket to side

 Pull up extra desk to house materials

 Check desk height

 Check chair position

 Pre-screen by nurse for medical condition

 Try a wedge pillow on the seat, with the large side to the back

 Chair with arms

 Non-skid material in seat

 Check chair size

 Increase work surface area – larger work area

 Phone book cushion behind back

 Find smaller chair

Posture on commode

Standing posture in hall - shifting, leaning or falling

 Use a covered drink box behind

 Place backpack

 Allow child to stand to work – adjusting desk height

 Tape work on vertical surface

 Position where cross is to allow foot support

 Pull regular chair to end

 Sit next to larger framed students

 Use stalls with grab bars

 Footstool for stability

 Lean against wall

 Check shoes for on the correct foot

 Check size of shoes
