Overview
Chelsio’s TWINHEAD-SBB is a configuration built from Supermicro®
components on an SBB form factor to provide an optimal machine for
use with Chelsio’s Feature Rich and Enterprise Ready Unified Storage
Server software package. It seamlessly supports both block and file data on a unified platform.
Storage Options
The TWINHEAD-SBB is available in two standard configurations. Each
configuration comes with a 8GB SATA-DOM installed for the OS and System services. The first of the two configurations comes with no data
storage included.
The second configuration is the TWINHEAD-SBB-SAS-48. This configuration is fully populated with 16 3TB Enterprise SAS drives. This is for
the customer who wants a complete, fully-populated turn-key solution.


Remote Mirroring
The TWINHEAD Unified Storage Head comes with two Chelsio T4 4port Unified Wire Adapters. The adapters are based on T4, Chelsio’s fourth‐generation offload silicon, which delivers support for
TCP offload (TOE), iSCSI, iWARP (RDMA), packet filtering and classification (firewall offload), and traffic shaping (media streaming).

