Unbridled Energy has sired four crops of racing age, with 91 winners from 139 foals to race, earning over $4.5 million. His progeny are led by stakes winners It’s My Party, Sterling Madame, Miss Buxley, and B Team. On the racetrack, Unbridled Energy won four of eight career starts for earnings of $282,862. His biggest wins came in the Grade 2 San Fernando Breeders’ Cup Stakes and the Grade 3 Marine Stakes. "Unbridled Energy is a multiple graded stakes winner with a million-dollar pedigree,” said E.J. Hubel. “With his conformation and eye appeal, he has a ‘wow’ first impression.” Bred in Kentucky by Dr. Charles S. Giles, Unbridled Energy is out of the Grade 3-placed stakeswinning Hold Your Peace mare Ataentsic, whose eight winners from 10 foals to race also include Grade 3-placed No Armistice and Bick. He is from the family of Grade/Group 1 winners Acaroid and Meiner Love, Grade/Group 2 winners Heart of Joy and Saayerr, and Grade 3 winners Inexplicable and Midnight Cry. “We realize in Michigan, there currently is not a big commercial breeding market,” Hubel said, “but we are confident that breeding our mares as well as a few outside mares, he will continue to sire the kind of horse that an owner can make money with. We feel the move to a regional market will make Unbridled Energy even more successful as a sire."
