THE POWER OF PRAYER – BRINGING 2020 VISION TO LIFE PRAYER LABYRINTHS Over the Power of Prayer Conferences many people enjoyed walking the Prayer Labyrinth and using the finger labyrinths. We have attached some of the finger labyrinth templates for you to print out. They will hopefully print front to back! We have also added a brief explanation and some suggestions on how to pray the finger labyrinth. Please also note that the big prayer labyrinth which you may have walked at the conference is available to borrow from the diocese free of charge. Please contact timfeak@churchinwales.org.uk should you want to use it. Our friends in Llanfyllin have been busy over Easter and have sent this message to the Power of Prayer network: We had a wonderful Easter Club at St Myllin's Llanfyllin - this was the beginning of our Messy Church venture and it has given us heart to carry on. On the Wednesday there were four children and plenty of helpers, whilst on the Thursday we had 14 children in all (plus a good number of helpers) - fortunately they were all of an age and so keeping them happy was great. They played in the vestry, decorating Easter biscuits, writing their names on badges, and weaving (a very popular item), and outside they were told lovely stories by our Reader Glyn under the weeping willow. They also searched for cardboard Easter eggs - one of five colours to be collected for a prize (also very popular as you can imagine). The mothers and one father got into the spirit and participated in many of the games. In all, with lovely weather, it was successful for a church that to date has one regular young attender at church. We hope to include others from our two other churches and perhaps further afield in the coming Mission Area. We have also begun a Crafter Knitters group, held in the Cain Hotel, where people can bring along their craft and sit, have tea and plenty of chat. The subjects on offer did cover Church, so again this venture will continue and hope grow and reach out in conversation and perhaps projects for charities! If you have any prayer resources that you would like us to add to the website so that they can be shared across the Teulu Asaph, please send them to our new email address powerofprayer@churchinwales.org.uk and we will do the rest!
