The Beef Educational Unit is located 2 miles south of interstate 40.
• Exit I-40 onto Lake Wheeler Road and drive south.
• Cross over Tryon, then go approximately one more mile and turn right (west) onto
Mid Pines Road.
• Take the first right (dirt road) and you will see the Beef Educational Unit (which has a
bright red roof) ahead of you.
