#CouragePOW Vote Now Using the Hashtag #CouragePOW – Vote on Twitter - @CouragePW or Facebook Week of October 27th THIS WEEKS WINNERS Chris DeBruyne #GoalOfTheWeekend Grace Snyder #YoungEngen BOYS 02 Red Boys - MIkey Eberle - Was just awesome through the two games this weekend. Just a ball winner and then looked to attack right away. He then either set up or scored multiple goals in both games. #BallWinner 02 Black Boys - Tyler Comey - Tyler led the team's attack from midfield by maintaining possession of the ball and transitioning to attack on goal. Tyler scored the team's winning goal by finishing a cross as the offensive point of attack changed direction. #YoungLampard 00 Red Boys - Jacob Menke -Posses great offensive skill and he is very valuable to his team because he is creating offensive opportunities for his teammates and himself. He is a top offensive player who also recognize any weakness in the defense, shoot/pass the ball quickly and accurately to take advantage of the situation. #AdvantageMenke 99 Red Boys - Chris DeBruynne -scored a great goal on set piece on Sunday. Turned in another strong, consistent performance both games this weekend at the left back position. #GoalOfTheWeekend 03 Red Boys - Andres Rodriguez - Was the middle field general in both wins this weekend. Commanding the center of the park and having his way with whatever he wanted. Consistently won 50/50 balls and controlled the entire game form the center of the park. #SaluteTheGeneral 04 Red Boys - Collin Contreras - Played a complete game this weekend in a tough loss. Played all over the field and was tasked with defending a very athletic team. Showed good energy and work rate through the game. #Versatile 02 White Boys - Nana Adu-Amankwa - played well all weekend, especially in a new position as defensive midfielder in the Presidents cup. He was never out of position and make good decisions with the ball, starting the attack and preventing counterattacks. He maintained a high level of energy and kept focused through all three games this weekend. #YoungMakelele 99 White Boys -Devin Jordan - steady defensively, great leader, and kept possession well playing as the teams Number 6 #LeadingByExample 01 White Boys - Michael Diaz - Scored 2 goals and had 1 assist in the President's Cup Final including the winning goal. Michael was dangerous every time he touched the ball creating numerous chances off the dribble or combining with teammates. He was also the point of the sword defending and winning balls back after a change of possession. #PresidentsCupChampion GIRLS 03 Red Girls - Hannah Taylor - Hannah contributed an assist in the 03's two victories this weekend. Although she did not fill up the box score, the group benefited from her service into the box and ability to draw two and three defenders. Her greatest contribution was her willingness to press the opposition's backline resulting in turnover after turnover allowing us to play in their end. This ability to press is something Hannah had not shown before but will hopefully become a permanent fixture in her game. #GoGetTheBall 97 Red Girls - Kaitlyn Higgins | 2 goals, 1 assist - Game winner on Sunday #3PointWeekend U9 Red Girls - Autumn Fairfax - Autumn played great this weekend, scoring numerous goals and providing multiple assists. #CreativeInFinal3rd U10 Red Girls -Tatum Beck- Tatum worked hard all game, which lead to her scoring two goals. #BeckDouble 97 White Girls – Grace Snyder -Center back in 2-1 Presidents Cup game. We were a little unlucky to give up a foul in the box for a PK. Otherwise, Grace kept defense organized, forced attackers wide, maybe allowed one or two shots on frame at most, and allowed us to keep pressure in the attacking half most of the game. The whole team is confident going forward knowing they can rely on Grace at the center back. #YoungEngen 98 Red Girls - Cassidy Boyes- Made several huge saves, including 1 v 1's. #HardWorkPaysOff U9 White Girls - Madison - She played really well, never gave up, kept her position and listen to my direction #NeverGiveUp U10 White Girls -Jaden - She had an amazing game, kept her passion, pressure when she had to and cover for her teammate when her teammate was pressuring (good ball movement and taking a good first touch to get away from pressure to find the open players starting from the back) #PlayingOutFromTheBack
