Happy New Year, Green families!
We are back at school and hard at
work, despite the cold weather.
Speaking of cold weather, please
make sure your students are
dressed in warm clothing for
outdoor recess. Also remember
that our doors open each day at
7:45 for breakfast and class
begins at 8:05, so please arrive at
7:45 with your students. Rarely,
we may have to close school to
help ensure the safety of our
students and staff. If we do, we
will let you know as soon as
possible by phone, text, social
media, and the district website or
through your local news station.
Call the main office to update your
contact information. Thank you for
entrusting your students to us – it
is a privilege to partner with you
for their education.
We hope to see you at Green this
month!

Tuesday, January 19th from
4:30 -5:30 pm
During lunch on January 29th,
students will taste Farro Salad with
Curry Orange Dressing -a sweet,
tangy dish inspired by the Birchwood
Cafe. The goals of tastes test are to
get students excited to try new,
flavorful foods and encourage them
to think critically about their food
(beyond just whether they like or
dislike it). Please encourage your
student to try this new salad!
