LOCAL HEALTHCARE EXPERTS TURN SPOTLIGHT ON FINANCE
“Future of Healthcare Finance” Program To Be Held on October 30
CHICAGO – October 1, 2008 – Addressing the ever-changing financing landscape facing healthcare
organizations, is the driver for “Future of Healthcare Finance” – a seminar to be held on October 30, 2008
at Embassy Suites, located at 600 N. State in Chicago. The seminar is hosted by the American College of
Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and its largest chapter, Chicago Health Executives Forum (CHEF).

“Financing continues to be a complex issue within the industry and there are new questions to answer

to help local healthcare executives navigate this intricate landscape.” The seminar will feature a panel
discussion on such topics as Medicare and Medicaid, the role of the CEO/CFO in creating effective
financing strategies and trends in financing with leading industry participants.
This program has been developed and presented locally by ACHE and CHEF. ACHE has awarded 1.5
Category I (ACHE Education) credit hours to this program. Networking begins at 5:15 p.m. with the
program to begin at 6:30 p.m. Early Registration discounts through October 10 are $65 for members; $90
for Non-Members and $45 for students. Registrations will also be accepted online through October 30 or
at the door. Admission includes hearty appetizers and drinks. This event is sponsored by Laurus
