(gesture) 4: Don’t tell me you didn’t do it. 1: I can’t believe it…I forgot about it completely! (sound effect & gesture) 2-5: Little girl say what? (gesture) 5: You told me last week that you were going to do it the minute you got home. 1: You guys gotta help me! (gesture & sound effect) 2-5: What? (gesture) 1: Please…Please…You got to help me! It’s not due until 4th period so we’ve got some time. 2: You don’t even have a physical project and that’s 20% of your grade. 3: Yeah…but the other 80% is the oral presentation for it so she could technically get a good grade 4: If she does great on the oral presentation 1: Exactly…So what do you say guys 2-5: (gesture & sound effect) 1: I’ll do all of your homework for a week for you all! (gesture) 2-5: Well...That would be nice to take a break from homework for a week. (gesture) 1: Thank you! Thank you! (gesture) 2: Well…You need to know that endangered species 3: are plants 4: and animals 5: that are in danger of dying out 2: and disappearing forever (gesture) All: Endangered species are plants and animals that are in danger of dying out and disappearing forever! (gesture) 1: Like dinosaurs? (gesture) 2: No…No…dinosaurs are extinct animals…there is a difference! 3: Yeah! 4: Extinction occurs when every member of a species 5: In this case dinosaurs 2: have died off. All: Extinction occurs when every member of a species has died. 5: Now endangered species are plants and animals that are in danger of dying out and disappearing 2: Thousands of species of animals and plants are 3: endangered, and the number increases each year (gesture) 4: Some examples of endangered species are 5: blue whales (gesture) 2: giant pandas (gesture) 3: orangutans (gesture) 4: rhinoceroses (gesture) 5: sea turtles (gesture) 2: snow leopards (gesture) 3: tigers (gesture) 4: whooping cranes (gesture) 5: and among the endangered plants are 2: running buffalo clover 3: Santa Cruz cypress 4: snakeroot 5: and many species of cactuses 1: That’s awful what can we do to prevent this from happening? (sound effect and gesture) 5: there are many ways to help 2: one of the most important ways to help threatened plants and animals survive 3: is to protect their habitats permanently in national parks 4: nature reserves 5: wilderness areas (gesture) 1: (gesture) this information that you have given me just saved me…I’m sure to get a good grade on my oral presentation (gesture) 2: That’s it! 3: That’s all you got from what we said (gesture) 1: No No I got so much more out of this…I now know how important it is to help endangered species out and that is the most important thing!
