WBMDFC is going to organise free ITI/ITC Courses for economically backward students of Minority Communities (Muslim,Christian,Sikh,Parsee,Buddhist) in trades –
(1) Electrician (2) Fitter (3) Diesel Mechanic (4) AC & Refrigeration Mechanic (5)
Draughtsmanship-Civil (7) Welder (8) Surveyor, in states of West Bengal,Orissa,Bihar
& Jharkand.
The entire course fee(for the duration of 2 years or 1 year as per the requirements of the course) will be borne by WBMDFC.Besides this, student will be paid Maintenance
Allowance @3800/-per year.Students will have to make their own lodging and boarding arrangement near the place of education if the hostel facility is not available there.
Eligibility Criteria
(a) Family Income should not be more than Rs. 2 lakh.However,Education Loan may be granted to candidates whose family income is not more than Rs. 55000/for students residing in urban areas and Rs.40,000/-for students residing in rural areas.
(b) Minimum Qualification- should have passed Madhyamic or equivalent examination with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate..
(c) Age should be between 18 to 35 years as on 1.8.2012
(d) Only male candidates are eligible.
The eligible and willing candidates are advised to appear in a walk-in-interview with the application in prescribed format which may be downloaded from our website www.wbmdfc.org
or it may be collected from the office of WBMDFC at
Salt Lake. The walk-in – interview will be held on 16-7-12 & 17-7-12 from
