We are pleased to invite you to become one of a select group of silent auction donors for our 2015 SkirBALL gala! After last year’s successful inaugural event in honor of NYU Skirball Center for the Performing
Arts’ 10-year anniversary, we are excited to be planning this year’s gala that will kick off another decade
of presenting international artistic excellence, offering enriching educational programming, and most
importantly, reaching new audiences for the future of live performance. Your donation will contribute to
our ongoing efforts to offer students, youth and typically underrepresented audiences accessible tickets
to world-class performances.
Our gala is scheduled for the evening of Monday, November 16th, 2015 and we are excited to honor
these esteemed individuals: Chandrika Tandon, an NYU Trustee, a Grammy-nominated world music
artist, and a successful business entrepreneur; Broadway producer, lawyer, NYU alumnus Thomas
Kirdahy; and the Tony award-winning playwright Terrence McNally. Please join us and help support our
important work by donating to The Skir-BALL gala’s silent auction, one of the evening’s most eagerly
anticipated activities. By supporting our auction, you will receive:


Valuable exposure simply for donating an item to our silent auction. Donors will be featured
throughout our expansive media campaign, which will garner publicity for the party and our
silent auction donors through ongoing promotions leading up to the gala.
Onsite recognition: Your donation will be introduced with prominent signage at the event, on
our website, and in the gala journal.
We’ll be pulling out all the stops for The Skir-BALL, which will be attended by 300 Skirball supporters,
business leaders, entertainers, industry professionals, philanthropists, and those passionate about the
performing arts.
We hope you will consider making a tax-deductible silent auction donation in support of the 2015
Skir-BALL—perhaps by donating a premium ticket package. Attached is the donation form and we will
be accepting items that can be listed with a minimum starting bid of $200 or higher. Please return the
