Boston Duck Tours Launches it's World Famous Tour in 9 New Languages!
Boston's Most Popular tour launches Boston's first multi-lingual GPS activated tour!
Boston, MA (April 23, 2015) - Over the past 21 years, Boston Duck Tours has entertained over 9 million guests, carried 4 world champion
sports teams and countless celebrities on its educational and fun filled land and water tour of Boston. Throughout these years, the company
has seen its fair share of foreign speaking guests. Some understand the narration, some understand very little and some simply want to
experience the tour after seeing the vehicles (even if they do not understand the tour due to the language barrier). Since Boston Duck Tours
always strives to give the ultimate guest experience, they created their own foreign language tour that is now available in 9 languages on 6
of their 28 newly built DUCKs. Guests that speak German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian dialect), Japanese, Mandarin,
Cantonese and Korean are now able to experience a fun and fact filled hour and twenty minute adventure through the city streets of Boston
and into the Charles River. There are over 50 points of interest (on land and water) that can be triggered during the 80-minute tour.
Any guest that wants one of these new tours may purchase tickets on any one of Boston Duck Tours' newly built DUCKs. These DUCKs
have GPS technology built right into them, which triggers information on the next historic site based upon the location of the vehicle. The
same technology is used on city and water tours in international cities, such as Amsterdam, London, Singapore and Christchurch, New
Zealand. Guests are given free souvenir ear buds to experience all that Boston has to offer in their native language. Foreign language tours
are available daily, every half hour, from the Prudential Center
Tours are still given live in English by their famous ConDUCKtors for those on board that want to experience the amazing stories they have
to tell. The GPS technology is there for those that may feel more comfortable receiving the tour in their native tongue.
"Due to the great progress on behalf of Massport & Logan Airport, Boston has more international flights than ever before. We can't think of a
more perfect time to launch these amazing new tours," mentioned Cindy Brown, CEO of Boston Duck Tours. "If you've visited most any
other city in a non-English speaking country, you can typically find a city tour in English. We believe that we should be able to present this
same service to our non-English speaking friends when they come to visit the birthplace of America. The actions that occurred in Boston
helped shape the world to what it is today."
*If you have a reporter/journalist that speaks one of these languages or would just like to see how the system works, please contact Bob
Schwartz to reserve a ticket for one of the GPS enabled DUCKs.
