Home school reviews situation; takes action/seeks advice as appropriate.
Pupil returns after failed Managed Move.
Home school consults parents and identifies preferred receiving school(s), completes RISE referral
form and sends to RISE ADMIN. ADMIN team then acknowledge receipt, verify all necessary
information is received (*)and informs I&A Officer.
Home school reports progress/outcomes of trial to Fair Access Panel
I&A Officer reviews referral and contacts potential receiving school(s)
Is it possible to identify a receiving school?
NO
I&A Officer gives referral form to receiving school
YES
School representatives meet and sign Managed
YESMove Contract with IAO, parents,
child, receiving, and home school.
Receiving school can request funding via SL above the contribution from the home
school with an evidenced programme of support.
Pupil remains on roll of home school
AP Strategic Lead can approve transport funding if necessary in consultation with
Home to School
Pupil starts at new school with reviews at approximately 3 and 6 weeks

6 week review - is the move being made permanent?

MANAGED MOVE MADE PERMANENT
Home school transfers pro rata portion of AWPU and pupil premium if applicable
Pupil put on roll at new school. Appropriate point count recorded
New school reports to Fair Access Panel at next meeting on progress and on impact
of funding, and at future meetings as requested by the Panel
