PROPOSAL FORM: Reinert Center Faculty Fellowships
The Reinert Center invites proposals from full-time, permanent teaching faculty at Saint Louis University for
consideration as a 2016-2017 Reinert Center Fellow. Applicants must have completed a minimum of two years
of teaching at SLU by the start of the fall 2016 term. Selected fellows will complete a project that they propose
and that will: 1) enhance their own knowledge about a pedagogical topic, 2) result in a tangible faculty
development opportunity on that topic for other SLU faculty from across the University, and 3) enhance or
supplement existing Reinert Center programs and resources. Reinert Center Fellows receive a stipend of $1,000
(to be disbursed at $500 per semester).
Completed proposals must submitted to Mary Cook (mcook25@slu.edu) in the Reinert Center no later than 5
p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2016. Final selections will be made no later than March 2, 2016.
To be considered complete, proposals must include a Statement of Support Form signed by the applicant’s
dean and chair (the form may be downloaded here.) Note: Chair/Dean approvals may be submitted to Mary
Cook, either electronically (mcook25@slu.edu) or in campus mail/in person (Reinert Center, Pius Library, 2nd
Floor). Proposals that do not include the signed support of the applicant’s department chair and dean will
not be considered.
Before completing this proposal, please consult the detailed Call for Proposals (which includes information
about sample projects) at http://slu.edu/x90467.xml.
Please note: this fellowship is different from the Innovative Teaching Fellowship, which supports teaching in our Learning Studio. For more
