Colonial Comic Strip Project Imagine that you are living in colonial America in the 1700s….what would your life be life? What would your family be like? Your home? What would school be like – would you go to school? Your task is to create a comic strip describing these details of your imaginary life, and many more. You already know many details about your character – your occupation, age, where you live, etc. Now you are going to create a story about what happens in that character’s life. Your comic strip is going to require that various actions/events happen in your colonial person’s life. Take a few moments and jot down 5 or 6 possible events that could happen to your person in the space below. You may use your textbook to help you come up with ideas. *Note – Be realistic. While you should be creative and have fun, remember that the primary purpose of this project is to demonstrate that you know what colonial life was like.
