Anna has had quilts displayed a number of times in the U.S.A. and nationally in New Zealand and has other quilts in private collections all over the world.
Over the years she has had numerous commissions, awards and prizes. Always creative and inventive,
Anna has been using digital cameras and computers to design and create a range of unusual and memorable quilts, especially in the Shaded Faces series
For this Shaded Faces class will make a small quilt, approx A3 size, from a supplied photograph.
This class is a good starting point to expand your knowledge of using colour confidently and to learn about the colour wheel.
You will draw your own pattern from the supplied picture, which enables you to further this technique with subsequent projects.
Raw edge machine appliqué is used and ideas for quilting are explored.
Comprehensive notes given out in the class to enable students to complete their project.

As well as teaching regular local classes, Pam has taught throughout Australia and overseas. Her
Applique technique classes (hand and machine) are always full and enjoyed by all level of quilter.
Many of Pam’s quilts have been published in Australian magazines and two of these have been featured as front covers. Some of her larger queen sized, hand appliquéd quilts have won prizes at the
New South Wales Quilt Exhibition in Sydney and the Victorian Quilt Showcase in Melbourne.
This is Pams second visit to One Tree Point and she will be teaching two of her popular techniques classes. You can choose to do either or do both within the 2 days.
