Who we are
ICTIM is a new and exciting development in education and training.
ICTIM originated out of the developing education and training
programmes for Medical Herbalists in Ireland. However, we quickly
realised that these education programmes should not just be for Medical
Herbalists but healthcare practitioners of all professional registers.
Mission Statement
We are an online education institution providing accredited education and
training in Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, and Naturopathic
Medicine, blending traditional, empirical and research based evidence of
practice.
Approach
Our approach is patient centred integrative medicine, which enables you, to
provide patients with the best possible therapeutic outcomes. Our medium
is blended learning, involving web based on-line learning and
practical experience.

Bringing
education
and training
to YOU
M
We offer education and training for professional practitioners by
professionals. This range of professional educational and training
programmes is designed to support you in YOUR practice.
As professionals we live busy lives. Medical knowledge is expanding and
growing daily. A quick search on any relevant database such as Pubmed
will show the year on year increase in publications. This is increasingly
evident in the area of nutrition, herbs and natural products and their use in
both healthcare and medicine. It can be impossible to keep up to date with
the volume of research that is being produced on a daily basis. This can
make it very difficult to ensure that you are aware of the current
developments in your area of expertise.
Therefore, we bring education and training to YOU, on-line and accessible
from your office or home.
How does
on-line
learning
work
On-line learning
On-line learning offers you the opportunity for a flexible and convenient
mode of study which is at the forefront of modern approaches to education
and training.

The ability to access training from professionals from around the
world from the comfort of your own home or office is a unique
opportunity not always available within the traditional modes of
study.
 For some of our seminars/ courses you will join at set dates and
times, for others you can take them at your own pace and time.
Typically, the on-line learning system works in the following way:-
Choose and purchase a seminar/course. You can get up to date
information on our website
(www.irishcollegeoftraditionalandintegrativemedicine.com ). If
there is a special offer available make sure you avail of it at this
time.
2. We will then e-mail you the seminar/ course pack. This pack will
include details of how to register for the seminar/ course and any
specific time and relevant dates.
3. For set seminars/ courses you will be sent an e-mail reminder the
day before and details of how to join the seminar/ course.
4. For others you choose your own pace and time to study and/ or join
in chat rooms, blogs as you choose.
