Senior Landscape/Civil Technician - Permanent and Full Time Position

The London office has approximately 80 people, specialising in Planning, Retail Planning, Urban Design,
Architecture, Landscape Planning, and Environmental Consultancy. The office is open plan, benefiting
from a friendly and sociable atmosphere.
Our established London Masterplanning team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and
talented Senior Landscape/Civil Technician to join their team to work on both prestigious UK and
international projects (including in the Middle East and broader global climates).
The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills including significant CAD and 2D document
package experience, and an interest in, and experience of, documentation and detailing of Landscape
design. The candidate will also have an understanding of the design implications of UK, the Middle
Eastern and broader global climates and have experience of working on city scale projects in similar
climatic conditions.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
 Working on UK, Middle East and broader hot global climatic projects from high end residential
and hotels, landscape design and architecture to extensive urban masterplanning
 Technical design, documentation, detailing and specification for high quality landscape/public
realm detailing
 Working on all project phases, concept through to tender award and to construction on site
 Managing technical design projects, including independently, from project concept to
completion
It is essential that candidates:
 Have a Landscape Architect or Architectural qualification
 Are extremely proficient with CAD and AutoCAD
 Have 2D document package experience, Sketchup and Rhino fluent
 Are Adobe fluent, including, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
 Are proficient with Microsoft
 Have experience in consultancy
 Have significant experience of working on UK, Middle East or broader hot global climate big
city development projects in a Landscape Technician role
 Have specialist knowledge of technical design, documentation, detailing and specification for
Landscape design
 Have experience of taking responsibility for all project documentation from design concept to
completion
 Have extensive knowledge of construction techniques so assuring buildability in design
 Are capable of managing a wide and complex workload
 Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Are personable and a strong team player
 Have an ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
 Have excellent attention to detail, working to the highest standards
 Have a working knowledge of Revit (advantageous)
