Grading Scale and Report Cards Average Grade 100-93 A 92-85 B 84-75 C 74-65 D Below 65 F The school term is divided into four 9-week grading periods. A report card will be issued for each grading period. MidTerm Reports will be issued to all students 4 ½ weeks into each grading period. Parents may check students’ grades at any time by logging onto https://webtools.citynet.net and proceeding with your specific login information. Login information for students will be sent home at the beginning of the school year. Student will be given a minimum of 18 grades per nine weeks. No eating or chewing gum in class The CMP is used to correct minor disruptive behaviors in the following manner: 1st Offense: Teacher will give student a verbal warning and document it. 2nd Offense: Teacher will give a 2nd verbal warning and the student will either be moved from seat or not allowed to participate in group work or both. The violations will be recorded on the classroom management plan. The student will then receive a behavior card to self-monitor behavior. This card will be taken home and signed after 7 total offenses. 3rd offense: The student and teacher will record the violation. The student will be given one day of lunch detention, in which the student will complete a plan on behavior modification. The teacher will make contact with the parent. 4th Offense: The student will be removed from class. Teacher will conference with student and guidance counselor. Parent is invited and encouraged to attend; however, conference will occur with or without parent. (This conference will be held at least 2 days after the teacher sends a conference request to the counselor.)
