E.O. Smith High School Safe Graduation 2015 Dear Parents/Guardians, The E.O. Smith Safe Graduation Committee is finalizing plans for this year's event on June 17th following graduation. Safe Grad 2015 is a late-night drug and alcohol free chaperoned evening which provides our graduating seniors with a memorable celebration. For everyone's safety, we invite and encourage all seniors to attend the celebration. Safe Grad 2015 will be held at the Mansfield Community Center in Mansfield on June 17th from 10:30-4:00 am. Students need to arrive at the community center for registration between 10:30 pm and 11:30 pm. There can be no admittance after 11:30 pm. Planned activities include a hypnotist, DJ, airbrush tattoo artistry, photo booth, Texas Hold'em, laser tag, ping pong, pool and swimming. A late night buffet and early morning continental breakfast will be catered by local restaurants. Each senior who attends and remains for the entire evening is eligible for a chance to win a wide variety of prizes. The raffle is the last event of the evening. Students must be present to win a raffle prize. As you can imagine an event of this magnitude depends on parental support. Please take the time to read and sign the enclosed contract. To ensure the safety of all students, absolutely no exceptions to these rules will be allowed. Tickets for the event are $40.00 if fee and contract are received by June 1st. Any contract received after June 1st will be $45.00. It is our goal to have all seniors attend. If the cost is a hardship for you, please contact the guidance office at E.O. Smith. To ensure the safety of the graduates, we encourage the students to attend the entire event. If for any reason your child requests to leave early, we will call you at that time to notify you of their departure. Because students will be tired at the end of the event, we recommend that you make appropriate transportation plans for the ride home. No written notes for early release will be accepted. Smith Safe Grad 2015 I understand that there will be no smoking permitted inside or outside of the community center. I understand that there will be no early departures from the building. Parents will be notified if a student requests to leave for any reason, medical or otherwise.
