After his fourth race victory of the season on Saturday at the Circuit Catalunya, Pol Rosell (Baporo Motorsport) successfully defended his title as the King of the international single-make series, which has YOKOHAMA as Official Tyre supplier. The Norwegian, Stian Paulsen (Stian Paulsen Racing), did his utmost and put on his best fighting spirit trying to take away the crown from the local hero. However it was not meant to be and had settle as series runner-up after dropping out of the battle on the final lap. On Sunday, victory went to the talented Lucile Cypriano (JSB Competition) who also secured the Ladies Trophy, followed by Manuel Gião (Baporo Motosport) and ‘rookie’ Jimmy Antunes (Monlau Competición) as the trio formed the closing podium of the year. Determination and perseverance was the key for Pol Rosell in the latest edition of the exciting racing series. The Spanish driver made it to the top of the SEAT Leon Eurocup standings at Estoril, Portugal for the second round of the season and apart from the race at Nürburgring, never lost control. Pushed to the limit by Paulsen throughout, the Barcelona weekend had them both on 77 points before race 1.
