Job Description
Performs assignments requiring extensive knowledge of field surveying techniques, including the
processing of field run topographic surveys, deed and easement research, property mosaic
generation, boundary surveys, boundary resolution and plat creation; documentation of
assignments; interacts with survey crew and office personnel, and gives field time estimates for
specific tasks.
Required Skills
 Familiar with third party software for boundary computations including Carlson, AutoCAD
Civil 3D & Inroads; work requires skills in coordinate geometry and trigonometry.
 Experience with Microstation and AutoCAD required.
 LSIT a plus
Must have active driver’s license, ability to work in inside/outside environment, and ability to lift or
carry survey equipment and survey markers. Some travel required; and clean back-ground check
for access to some project locations.
Required Experience
 Minimum 4 years of experience as a survey technician required.
