your award. You should also check you will be able to fulfil overall course specific requirements by the end of your course. Also check

PROGRESSION FORM COMPLETION NOTES
Progression is the time in the academic year when full and part-time non-finalist students should select their
programme of study for the following year.
 Foundation Year 0 Students must transfer programme code to ensure accurate transcript and Student
Finance England/Student Loan Company course detail.
 (HND/Foundation Degree students wishing to transfer to degree should contact the Admissions Office
(Foster Building 113),
 Foundation students wishing to transfer to a degree should contact the relevant School Office or Campus).
Submissions deadline: FRIDAY 18th MARCH 2016
We recognise that circumstances may change, and you will have a further opportunity to amend your programme of
study during enrolment and module registration at the beginning of the next academic year.
You will need advice from an authorised member of staff on your Programme of Study for next year. This will be
whoever is responsible for your overall Programme of Study as determined by your School/Course Leader. You will
need their signature at the bottom of the form. You will also need authorised signatures against the individual module
entries.
As a guide, if you are registering a defined Programme of Study on a programme the signature of your Course Tutor
would be appropriate to sign against the individual modules and also the overall form.
If you are a Combined Honours student or are registering an optional element on your programme of study you will
need the signature of the Module Tutor or Subject Leader against the modules and your Personal Tutor or Course
Leader overall.
Free-Choice Electives are the special modules that are included in the Free-Choice Elective Catalogue. Students
will have the choice of either: self-registering their Free-Choice Elective online during the first weeks of induction and
enrolment in September 2014; or completing a Module Registration Form. You must be an enrolled student at the
Main University Campus.
The member of staff responsible for your overall programme of study or your School will be able to advise you about
the signatures you require if you are uncertain. Unauthorised forms cannot be accepted.
Please take your profile of study with you when making changes to your Programme of Study. This will be helpful in
selecting your options for next year, in consultation with the appropriate member of academic staff who will be signing
your form.
