Wind and structural loading guidance Requirement to do a Solar Horizon Assessment This 4 hr workshop at Coventry University’s prestigious new Engineering and Computing Building is presented by an industry expert and installer who knows the issues you face on site and can explain in a straightforward way what you need to know to stay current. This workshop is presented by Coventry University as part of a funded project called Sustainable Building Futures aimed at supporting businesses working in the construction sector/supply chain based in the West Midlands Region. The primary restrictions are that your business has to be in the W.Midlands, working in the construction industry and be relatively small. 2 attendees max can be accommodated per company. The project runs until June 2015 and offers several other funded business assistance options ; Workshops on Business Skills and Sustainable Construction topics Access to direct ,bespoke short consultancy with University staff/business support experts. Access to technical equipment with support. Access to graduate level resources for project work. In addition to this course aimed at Solar Power installers we also running a series of more general business skills courses for anyone involved in the construction sector.
